PROBLEMS WE FACED
In the Tokyo Coin project, we were developing a very addictive & futuristic Apex Legends style game but our main target was to design it as an anime game. The major complexity with the project was that the client had little to no technical experience due to which we faced a huge issue of what exactly the client wanted as he failed to provide any kind of GDD or doc at first.
The client gave us a reference game on IOS which he wanted to replicate for Web first in a very low budget while producing the game in its best form. Designing the game in an anime style posed a significant challenge, as it was a key requirement from the client and this aspect added a layer of complexity to the project.
OUR STEPS TO SOLUTIONS
- Initiation: We initiated detailed discussions to decipher their requirements, compensating for the absence of documentation.
- Planning: Strategically planning within a modest budget, we aimed to replicate an iOS game on the web using the Unreal Engine, aligning with the client's vision.
- Designing: We tackled the unique challenge of crafting the game in an anime style, and designed it with iterative feedback to bridge the anime knowledge gap.
- Implementation: Executing the project in phases, we implemented solutions aligned with the client's specifications.
- Acceptance Testing: Our In-depth testing ensured that the final product met expectations.
